YouGov: 2022 German Bike Theft Survey (YouGov)

YouGov conducted a survey on April 3, 2022, with 6,667 adults in Germany about their experiences with bicycle theft. The survey found that about one third of respondents had their bike stolen at least once, and around 10% had experienced theft more than once. The majority (62%) had never had their bike stolen, either due to luck or effective security measures. The data provides insight into the widespread nature of bike theft in Germany and the importance of preventive measures among the population.
